Did you know that Borsalino, the italian historical brand that makes hand made hats, also produces helmets? I did not! I find them so beautiful! One for her and one for him. I want one!

THE LITTLE WILD ANIMALS
Yes I know, the autumn is creeping in and even though the vacation was just a month ago, we are all already covered in work and lacking the sun to keep our mood up. But, I think Burberry new we will feel this way and so they made the whole little wild animal accessory line to make our winter fashion more fun! Loving them!

THE SELECTION of WHITE
Chloe
Stella McCartney
Celine
Balenciaga
Burberry
Depending on which side of the world one is living, but in most parts of Europe autumn and winter is considered that season in which you prefer to stay indoor away from the grey, gloomy, rainy, *sometimes snowy weather outside. And to make the situation ''less ''depressive, we Europeans have decided that dressing dark is the answer and we all wear black and grey and all the other colours that just make the situation worse. So I am all for white! It is hard to keep it all fresh and clean and I will propably be the first one wearing that black coat that I j'adore, but if I could, I would wear all these nice little looks I found. Eh, in my dreams sweetheart!
GOing Out Of THE Boundaries
Haha, I laughed so much when I saw this picture. I find it fabolous!
EDDIE BORGO
Mr. Borgo lives a bit in the future and a bit in the past with the inspiration for his jewellery collections. I must say that these pieces selected here were the only ones that I would really wear myself and still feel like a STAR WARS woman, which is not so bad after all. There is one collection that for me is very MATRIX, and then there is the one that to my mind reflects very much the Actek culture. One may agree or disagree, but definately Mr. Borgo makes some eye catching pieces.
KENZO new image
With the new creative directors of the Kenzo collection - Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, the collection has undergone a total transformation. Obviously the new image needs to be transmitted also through the shop interiors so here is a sneek preview of the interior design of the Kenzo boutiques.

KATSUYA KAMO
The simplicity yet complicity of the Asian culture continues surprising me in all walks of life. This time its hairdresser Kamo Katsuya, who is more of an artist that just a simple hairdresser. His skills and imagination fly way sky high. Apart from a dozen photshoots and diverse appreciations, I guess one of his biggest spotlight moments could be considered the Chanel Spring Haute Couture 2009 show. Every model had a different head decor made in paper, the whole set design was made in paper, keeping in mind also one of CHANEL's logos - the rose, thus flowers could be found everywhere. All the guests were greeted by a truly amazing paper decorated staircase. I would feel like walking on clouds.
Go on and google him. You can find really great work. I think a book of his is on my wishlist from now on.
UNA BURKE
Loads of famous show girls have already their closets full of Una's leather accessories. Their originality is truly eyecatching and knowing that they are all hand made make you value all the nails that have been broken to make them :)
This is the full story on these exceptional pieces:
This is a conceptual collection of wearable art pieces, depicting a series of eight human gestures associated with the cause, the physical and psychological effect and the healing stages of human trauma. Sculptural forms are created around the shape of the contorted female body. A number of pieces are reminiscent of prosthetics and medical braces. This signifies the potential for healing within the boundaries of something which inhibits the body.
Carcass-like in form, each piece is hand crafted from vegetable tanned leather, resulting in a colour indicative of human flesh. They have been produced to be viewed as contemplation artefacts observed in the environment of the gallery and they can be used as fashion accessories when broken down into sections, such as arm pieces, leg pieces, head or neck pieces and shoulder pieces. They could be combined with other garments in flowing fabrics which would create beautiful contrasts with the structured forms of these pieces.

I am really loving the bags and the shoulder covers. Would not mind having the cognac coloured bag at all.
FIONA PAXTON jewels
Well it is no surprise to see tribal jewel re-interpretation all over again, but the curious part is how it is being done. I have been loving the bronze metal accessories for quite some time now, and its nice to see more and more options on the market. I must say though that my visit to a vintage market this weekend proved that you can also get original tribal pieces which are very up to date and stylish, you just have to open your eyes and search for the right ones. PROENZA SCHOULER accessory selection
For those of who dont know me, I am 1.82m tall, so these shoes would make me what? oh well...I will have to keep staring at them on my blog but I am pretty sure they look amazing on the foot and they would save me on a sad and lonely day ;)
I am loving this little wallet - would be perfect for this summer to add a bit of colour in my bag.
GIANFRANCO FERRE'
OK, after seing the two sets above, I take my words back on black. Amazing coat and amazing jump suite. The leather detailing (you should know by now that wherever there is leather detailing = Ieva is in love) is just right. Would wear these straight away.
Here the contrast between the grays and the cut of the coat and the contrast between the materials of glossy and matt blows my mind. I would so rip off this look of this model.
Here I am not sure if this is a blouse and a skirt or a dress, but I have been looking for a white dress for some time and this would be just the right mix between elegance with an edge. The contrastic rock type belt is the perfect final touch. Simple yet demanding.
My next post after seeing this will be on their make up. I need to find out what, where and why...

Mother of pearl a/w 2012
It is nice to see that somebody is using patterns also for a winter collection. Even more colourful ones. I feel like so many of the collections proposed are so grey and dull. I am even loving the sneakers, tho I am not much of a sneaker person. And the colourful shoe lace concept is very smart. Give a touch of colour to your black shoes for the winter! These are my favourite outfits from their ready to wear collection and I am very much ready to wear all of it!:)
FENDI a/w 2012
I am truly loving these stockings. I wonder if they will be out in the stores. Amazing.
And this look I just find fierce. I have a postman bag in this fur - will be my must piece in my winter outfits :)

MARIA FRANCESCA PEPE
Well as we have touched the theme of photoshoots with snakes, then I wanted to add this one as well, while appreciating the works of Maria Francesca Pepe. My favourite is the V shaped earrings. I wonder how comfy they are to wear but the look is F_A_B_O_L_O_U_S.
MSGM 2012 Cruise collection favourites
I must say I have never been too fond of those socks worn like that in open heel shoes, but here it really works with the over all style. Especially the black ones. The mix of patterns and colours is very neat, plus that dress with the birdies - how cute is that? This summer will really be all about patterns. Can not wait. And I think a visit to some vintage store is a MUST before the summer sneeks in.
VOGUE French February 2010
I have always been amazed by those models who have made great photoshoots with live snakes. I mean I have never held one, but just the idea of that slithering snake around my nake gives me shivers. Month after month French Vogue is the one that delivers the best photoshoot. Thumbs up!
AVEDON
As we are touching the subject of snakes, I wanted to remind you all of one of the most iconic pictures ever taken with a snake with Natasha Kinski. Exists a documentary on Richard Avedon's work in which he explains in every detail how special was this moment when the snake came close to Natasha's face and stuck out its tounge as if to tell her a secret. He said that the moment was very magical and in that moment he knew that a great photo was born.
My summer CHLOE' looks
GOYARD
As I will soon be touching the subject of what is the Whispered Directory, I wanted to say something about Goyard - a french brand that not everybody knows of, but that has had a more fashionable success over the last years especially among fashion divas. Goyard is one of those family businesses that started by making luggage and since the day has always kept a personal thus luxury touch to its products. Its high profile global clientele has thus spread the word of its quality and value in the long run.Today its signature products are light weight travel bags in canvas jaquard. My favuourite is the classical colour, as the one you see above.

VISIONARIES - inside the creative mind of TOM FORD
I guess I am into insparational videos lately. Check out these videos from the movie VISIONARIES about the creative mind of Tom Ford. I find it quite inspiring.
BALMAIN - I am in love
Oh I am loving all of these looks - the contrast between patterns and materials; the insparation of the Moroccon type style and the detailing is fantastic. The gold - and I am not the golden type of girl, but I am looooving it.
The cut of the blouse is simple but tres chic.
I am not too fond of the pants but the top is MINE!!:)
PETER RIPA
Going back home even for a few days opens my horizons everytime. This time I was looking for new things to share with you and I found this jewellery line by Peter Ripa. There is a little bit of folk, little bit of ancient a little bit of nature that mixed all together with precious materials delivers a strong visual message. I must say that the rings with the stones do go a bit in the Pomellato direction, but I will appreciate the line either way.

FASHION AND STYLE lives forever...
This is an insparation to all, to never stop loving fashion. And ladies, next time somebody asks you how old are you, remember to answer: '' I am between 30 and death!'' Unbelievable, what a great answer! :D
NYC baby...
Today it is a photography day - I am sorry to say that I do not remember the photographer who made this shoot, so if anyone has suggestions- feel free. But I am loving these pictures. First of all - location is NYC; the model is doing an amazing job - so sensual; and the photographer is a bomb. Great idea of the final realisation! I would actually put these on my wall at home. Yes I would!!

KENZO - new identity
With the new head directors of the Kenzo brand, everything has been turned upside down within the fashion house. Not in a bad way I mean. Check out this video on their website which I find very neat and I feel like it really represents the new brand identity.
ALEXANDER WANG
I know it is a rather old model from the collection, but I so should have not tried it on a few summers ago, because it has been hidden in the back of my mind ever since. I am very much not into pink, but this whole look together is fantastic. The light flowy silk with the rock style cross on the back, finalised with the velvet belt - WOW! As I said, I am all about contrast - so this dress is definately one of those that I would call - with a twist.
BURBERRY pieces for my closet
For me, if it would have not been for the leather details, I do not think I would appreciate the model so much. I really appreciate anything with leather detailing so this one deffinately goes on my list! Tres chic!
I love love love this huge knitted coat/jacket. I could so do this laid back look on a weekend!mmm...so warm and cosy!
This evening dress blows my mind - I am all about contrast so the wool, the satin, the decorations and then that black leather belt on top! Ohhh yesssss!!
DICE KAYEK
I just stumbled across this Turkish brand that I did not know of - Dice Kayek. I am loving this fur coat with all that detailing and the leather sleeve! Yeah baby!
PArty TIMe Baby
DETAILING...
I have always had doubts about these big cut t-shirts, but the way this young lady has put on the paiette bra, is fantastic! A touch of rock and glamour! Thanks for the idea! Btw, picture from Tommy Ton - again! :)
Mr. ALEXANDER....WHy oH Why?
I must say that I am in a very hard place in my life, because I keep on walking into bags that I simply adore!:) These ones from McQueen are gorgeous! The big black one would be the perfect place where to hide all those things I daily bring with me in my bag, of which half I do not even need...Poor me!
You too Stella - WHY?
Love from first sight! And the fuksia detailing - a cherry on top! Poor me again!

FASHION BABIES by Tommy Ton
I believe I am starting to create small little stories with the help of Tommy Ton's pictures. This one is amazing - I feel like it could go on the cover of one of those childrens books about a little girl who had a dog. Super cute!
How cute is this one ! Love the energy in the little girl!
And this little guy is so stylish. Look at him!! And the look on his face??!! Too good to be true!
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow - part 2
This is my favourite! A slight hint for somebody who is still looking for a Xmas present for me! I promise I have been a very very good girl this year ;)

As I am getting more and more into the Xmas mood, I thought I share with you my latest discovery of these designer ''boule de neige''. It is for sure a good present for a fashion divaaaa!!

My dress for New Years Eve
Maison Martin Margiela
I am not too much into the colour of this piece but the function is great.
Lately I am really into original earrings, the only problem that they are hard to find. I really like this from Maison Martin Margiela - you kind of hook it onto your ear. If I will find a demostrative picture, I will post it up.
My Selection from ALL Saints
I WANT CHANEL NAILS TOO!!
How cool are these? Does anyone know where you can get these little sticker? The rest I could take care of!! :)

Bijoux Brodes
From Maconet and Lesquoy, how adorable are these cute little brooches? I am getting the little bunny friend for my friends Lucia and Johny Boy who are very proud parents of two little bunnies themselves. This one I will call Palomito - Lucia will know why!
you can buy them online or I saw a couple of them already at EXCELSIOR Milano - thats obviously if you are a local or visiting. CHeeers!

My selection of Pedro Garcia'
The glittery ones are just super cool. I could wear those everyday and feel like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz ( was Dorothy her name? i think so) , only I would have them ''pimped up'' because mine would be blue and hers were red. Ha!

CALVIN KLEIN at the Oscars
I have been wanting to share this red carpet moment at the Oscars already for some time. The picture does not give enough credit, because seeing this dress live on tv was totally another thing. She was stunning. Absolutaley amazing. The dress was so simple but at the same time it blew me away. I do not quite understand that little decorative belt thingy (if it is a belt thingy). I would have left it clean and simple. Anyhuu. Love the dress.
Diamonds or RAptiles ???
Tomodachi bag
Ibla extra small
Seems us if today the ladies are not so more fighting for diamonds but more for the most exquisite raptile bags. ZAGLIANI, the Milanese based craftsman company, specialised on delivering high quality reptile bags is booming ''alla grande''. I took a sneek peek on the collection, and I am really enjoying the models above. Maybe the more classical from the collection, but black is black. What about Ethan K? The models are too classy for me, but the story behind his family is pretty interesting.
He SHOT me DOWN - BANG BANG!!
NAILS NAILS NAILS
As I am becoming more and more of a nail freak, I saw this post of these stary sky nails and I thougth that they are pretty fantastic. I know my blond friends Giulia and Sara together with Lucia will appreciate this idea. Yup girls - we are hooked.

HOSS INTROPIA
FROM NET-A-PORTER : Cult Spanish label Hoss Intropia was founded in 1994 by, ex-designer to the National Ballet of Spain, Paloma Vázquez de Castro. In the interest of keeping their designs unique and exclusive, Hoss Intropia produce and design all of their own prints, and details are hand-beaded and embroidered. Inspired by Spanish painter Diego Velàzquez, folk art and theater costume, de Castro's collections are eclectic and youthful.
I can not quite figure out if it is the HOSS brand I have seen already before or HOSS INTROPIA is something I have not seen before, either way here is the selection of all the pieces I love love love from their collection. Hope to visit their shops in London on my next trip and do some great shopping.
And these ones I have selected for my siter - somehow I saw them and I thought of her. Sis, what do you think? We get all of them? :)
BOTTEGA VENETA CD LAUNCH FOR XMAS 2011
This Xmas season Bottega Veneta takes care of us by launching a new CD called Intreccio Uno with various pieces from fashion shows and showroom/shop background music. For sure will be something sold out in front of our eyes, but I will make my attempt with a visit to the Bottega Veneta store. Wish me luck!!
VINTAGE CHANEL
Sometimes going back to basics or lets say, going back in time can be so inspiring. Look at these old CHANEL adds with our ''million dollar baby''. They are so 80's but there is something so stylish about them and they feel so now. Would be cool to reproduce this atmosphere in a campaign today.
ABICI
Sooo, this pretty much has nothing to do with fashion, but I had no clue where else I could place it on my blog. Could have placed in under CITY, but that would just ruin the whole graphic-anyhuuu, I wanted to share this bike find with you, because I find them very vintage/second hand and yet they are new. The turquise one is awsome. I like the Pantone colour bike idea, the only thing is that on the website the colours are quite limited - I hope you can make them any colour. And some of the accessories for bikes are very neat as well, the only problem is that having a bike in the city like Milan means that the leather covered chain to lock your bike - Wooops, it is not there the next day - and if the chain goes, the bike goes.
yup - check out the website http://www.abici-italia.it/

BOTTEGA VENETA RINGS
Aren't they kinda weird but cool at the same time? Apparently they are silver, but treated in a way to acchieve this black matt look. I would wear them all together to achieve the right look. I am on the Addam's family type of wave this week, together with the Chanel shade video :)
CAT EYES
Very cool cat eye - to reproduce for a crazy night out! Oh my poor little trembling hands that will make a mess on my face...
CHANEL - shade parade
Could anybody come with a more exciting nail polish add than this one! Super cute, but I must say it made me think a bit of Adam's family! :)
TOMMY TON DOES IT AGAIN
I must say that one of the websites I visit the most is www.style.com. It is simply a breath of fresh air every time - even during lunch break. And our friend Tommy Ton is part of it, with his street captures...
This one is simply marvelous! LOVE IT! Good job TOMMY!

Mr. Lagerfeld...on my Xmas wishlist there is a note....
Somewhere over the rainbow, there is OPI...
Since I have discovered OPI I have kind of become addicted to nail polish colours....I could be the next Carrie Bradshaw, only with OPI and not designer shoes! Who knows how much money I will spend on these darlings, as this could well be my winter palette! Ahhh, yes! Try www.lookfantastic.com
I also want to cry CHANEL tears...
Treasure hunt...
I had forgotten how much cool stuff one can find in a vintage market. Look at that necklace..! LOVE LOVE LOVE

MARY KATRANTZOU
The other day I was going through my wardrobe and I realised it is all so black and white. I could so go to work with this colourfull/happy dress from the last collection of Mary Katrantzou, but I guess my boss would SOOO have something to say. Anyhuuu, VIVA COLORI!
NARCISS
So here is the story - basically a good friend of my sister has launched her own fashion line NARCISS. She is latvian, as I am, and this is her last years FALL/WINTER collection that I simply LOVE LOVE LOVE! What can I say - all the pieces are feminine, formal and yet cosy, all with a twist. I mean it is so seldom that this happens, but I would propably wear this whole collection. Great work Alise! Keep up the amazing work! Check out more of her collection on www.narciss.eu
